How can I convert my permesso for ricerca lavoro to lavoro subordinato or autonomo?

The ricerca lavoro permesso is valid for 1 year, and during this period you are allowed to stay in Italy and look for a job. So that means that you have the options to convert it into lavoro subordinato and autonomo, the documentation that you need to do is different, depends if you want to convert it into lavoro subordinato or autonomo

How can I convert it into lavoro subordinato? 

In case you want to convert it into lavoro subordinato, first of all you need a contract as dependent worker, this contract must be for at least 6 months, it must be of at least 20 hours per week and you must earn at least 7101€ per year

Any type of contract works?

The contract must be apprendistato, determinato or indeterminato

What about internship or contratto a chiamata?

The internship is not recognized as a job, so internship’s contract are useful only to renew your student permesso. Instead with the contratto a chiamata, it is very difficult, because the contract must show how much will you earn per year and since it is a contratto a chiamata, this is almost impossible.

What are the minimum requirements?

In the case of lavoro autonomo, the minimum requirement in terms of money is 8500€ per year that you must show through a tax declaration, instead, in case of the Co.Co.Co. contract, this amount must be written in the contract.

I just open the Partita IVA so I don’t have a tax declaration yet, what can I do?

Some questura allow you to obtain the first lavoro autonomo, even if you don’t have the tax declaration yet (in case of partita Iva), in this case you must replace this document with a balance sheet of your commercialista with your earnings from the moment you open the partita iva, till now. In this case you also need to attach the carta d’identità of the commercialista and his registration to the albo dei commercialisti. I also suggest you to attach these documents even if you have already the tax declaration
