What are the Unemployment Allowances?
The unemployment allowances are a certain amount that you receive monthly when you lose your job or get fired. One it is called NASpI and the other one DIS-COLL
What is the difference between these two?
The DIS-COLL is the unemployment allowance for who is registered to the Inps gestione separata without having a partita iva and it is for:
- People who have a Co.Co.Co. contract
- People who have an assegno di ricerca
- People who are doing a PhD with a borsa di studio
The NASpI is the unemployment allowance for those working as subordinate workers
What are the requirements to ask for the DIS-COLL?
You must be unemployed when you ask for the unemployment allowance and you must have previously payed a month of contributions, in the period between the 1st January of the year preceding the end of the contract and the end of the contract itself
How much time do I have to request it?
From the end of the contract, you have 68 days to do it
For how long will I receive it?
You will receive it every month, for a duration equal to the months you payed the contributions in the period between the 1st January of the year preceding the end of the contract and the end of the contract itself. But in any case the duration cannot overcome 12 months.
How much will I receive?
You will receive the 75% of the average of the monthly salary, but in any case it cannot overcome more than 1562,82€.
From the 1st day of the 6th month, every month it will 3% reduced

What are the requirements to ask for te NASpI?
In case of the NASpI it is necessary to work for at least 13 weeks in the 4 years preceding the beginning of the unemployment
How much time do I have to request it?

You will receive the NASpI every month for the half of the months you worked in the last 4 years
How much will I receive?
You will receive the 75% of the average of the monthly salary of the last 4 years

Is it possible to apply for one of the unemployment allowance if I quit the job?
No, it is never possible in this case
If I find new job, can I still receive the unemployment allowances?
